The Chemicals and Oxides segment produces and distributes a wide array of industrial materials utilized in sectors including auto and petroleum refining catalysts, magnets, hybrid and electric vehicles, water treatment, and consumer electronics. Finally, the Rare Metals segment is involved in the sourcing, production, reclamation, refining, and marketing of high-temperature metals like tantalum, niobium, hafnium, and rhenium, alongside electronic metals such as gallium and indium. These specialized metals are essential for superalloys in jet engines, medical imaging, wireless technologies, LED lighting, flat panel displays, solar energy, steel additives, batteries, and a multitude of other electronic applications.
